Under the influence of the Reformation current, the Catholic inhabitants of Cioc left their religion, becoming either Reformed or Unitarian. Of course the two great religions built their own churches.
Catholics only managed to build a stone chapel in the 19th century. The chapel also had a wooden bell tower, which they abandoned. It is not known where the ceiling of the box came from, but it is known that the altar table and the benches come from Bezid.
