Map of DN7c: Stan valley

The path leading into the valley starts at the 180 degree curve where the transfogarasan road starts to ascend toward the hights of Fagaras.The red circle marked path lead us into the world of rocks and waterfalls.
Metal ladders, cable handrails and walkways helps us to get through key steps. The waterfalls reaching a 35m altitude dug real basins. There is no need for special equipment to enter the valley narrows, what you need is comfortable clothing, proper footwear, and a lot of attention.
The track can become dangerous.Those who do not have a strong sense of balance should not take it because one wrong step might send you 10-20 metres below into the riverbed. At the end of the road we reach the water-gate walking in in the riverbed in knee-high water.
The frozen waterfalls in winter offer a real climbing track to the lovers of the sport. The beautiful gorge-way offers real adventures to those who take it.
