Map of Bihor-Vladeasa, Apuseni mountains: Băiţa-Ţapu peak-Vârtop

The blaze starts from the centre of Băița, from the road DN75. From the curve, where we cross the Valea Mare, we follow the forester`s path on the bank. Soon the blaze goes on a stiff rise, it crosses many forester`s pathes and gets out to the Chicera plateau.
From here there is a less stiff rise, the well visible path goes in the side of Black Stones. This road is called the way of Motiilor. Our blaze crosses two other blazes too:
From here there is a newer rise taking us to the foot of the Țapu peak (1475m).
We descend to the Ruginoasa abyss. There comes a slanting part at the side of La trei morminți (1318m) peak, then after a tough descending way we reach the mountain holiday home Vârtop on the DN75 road. Attention, the last part of the marked road goes through the recently built pensions. Several trees have been cut which had balzes on!
