Map of Bihor-Vladeasa, Apuseni mountains: Padiş - Gârda de Sus

From Padiș the main road marked with the blue stripe goes on the pathway leading to IC Ponor, together with the blue triangle, and where the road makes a 180 at rate turn, both signs leave it, and go South. After 300 m, we are left by the blue cross.
We go ahead on the left ( SE), climb up the Pesterii hill, go through the zone with smaller hills and get to a saddle. In the close surrounding we can find the Batrana vertical cave. From the saddle we go right to the Calineasa meadow then comes the Capul Șanțului (1386 m) saddle. We go left from here, going around the Vulturilor valey and get into the wood. The blaze takes us to NW-SE direction to a glade, descends to the valley, and goes on the way to Scarisoara pension.
From here the road turns to the east, and our sign after 1 km leaves it, to start its descending way after another 1 km to the Devilish streamlet. It passes through the Ordâncușii gorge, goes by the Corobana lui Gârțău and Poarta lui Ionele caves, and after 500 m it gets to Gârda de Sus on the road DN 75.
