Map of Aleu: Ferice Cave

To Ferice Cave there is a path coming from the Ferice village, climbing upwards next to the mill, through pebble stones, then passing by a streamlet. We shall climb a bit unto the entrance of the cave, as it is situated at 410m height.
This cave had already been known by the nineteen century, its first description being recorded in 1863. For long it was considered to be 260m long. Its actual 2900m length was discovered only in 1982. The part right after the entrance is a bit uncomfortable.
After the "crowling area" the space enlarge. It will become higher and wider. After the first 40 m is a niche left.
There we can find small basins. The main channel ends up in a watery part. The water from here filters into the soil, and comes out with the streamlet we have seen coming towards the cave.
