Ponor Glade is the place where the waters appear and disappear. The burst is at the base of a rock.
Ponor emergence is particularly spectacular: a lake fed by a siphon. The creek created is on the right, the meanders flowing approx. 800 m, then dive. Here it is lost in the system of sorbs, from where comes the name of creek, Poiana Ponor. In small water, the two main sorbs can be observed. On large seas, the sorbs can no longer drain the entire amount of water, the stream increases, floods usually dry areas, and activates new sorbs.
When they no longer deal with it, the entire poiana is flooded. The lake can also spill over the northwest of the lakes giving rise to a violent surface stream flowing towards the Cetăților valley. The entire hydrographic system can be understood from the attached longitudinal section
