Map of Poiana Botizii: Wooden church

The wooden church in Poiana Botizii was built after some opinions in 1825, afterwards in the first half of the 13th century, it is certain that it was built by Greek Catholics instead of an older church and was sanctified in 1936. The register the matricol has been completed since 1830.
Covered with shingles and a small tower, the small church has a small pronaos, nave and apse. The bells were cast in 1866 and 1891. The narthex is decorated with floral motifs, crosses and chalices and the nave biblical scenes, saints and evangelists.
The iconostasis is painted directly on the wall, it has two registers with scenes from the New Testament and apostles. The characters are disproportionate faces with expressions are large and small bodies. The royal doors are decorated with painted medallions, chords and bunches.
