Attested in 1390, Vima Mică in 1405 was the property of the Drag family. In 1475 it appears as a deserted locality. In 1549 it appears again as the estate of the Drágffy family. Since 1786, for the next 100 years it has become the property of Teleki's family. Interestingly, in 1898 he was the property of the Cluj National Theater. There are two churches more than 100 years old in the locality.
