Map of Bezid: Bözödi György memorial house

One of the notable sons of Bezid is Bözödi Jakab György, writer, sociologist, historian, poet and translator. During the Nazi occupation he was part of the anti-fascist resistance. After the war, his translations contributed to the popularization of Romanian literature.
The parental house was donated to the Unitarian church. The house, renovated in 2008 by the Civis company, gives rise to the manite exhibition to present the art of straw weaving.
