Map of Brădeşti
The first written mention of Bradesti dates from 1532. In 1898 it had 617 believers. Currently the population of the village is growing, due to the families who moved here from Odorheiu Secuiesc, located only 5km away. Here the Brădești brook flows into Târnava Mare. Part of the village stretches along the road to Miercurea Ciuc, but the larger part in the Târnava Mari valley, to Gheorgheni. Passing through the settlement you can see many Szekler gates.
