Map of Chibed: Reformed church

The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1552. The church, renovated in 1640, was set on fire by the Curuts in 1709. The blackened walls show that the whole church was renovated in 1710, then extended between 1781 and 1782, when the tower was erected.
However, the current church was built between 1820 and 1826. As the inscription on it indicates, the crown of the pulpit was made by the rector Szabó Mózes in 1761. The organ was built in 1847 by the craftsman Bodor Péter from Corunca.
