Map of Crişeni
The first attestation of Crișeni locality, located 30 km northwest of Cristuru Secuiesc, is from 1566. The most famous of the former owners of the locality was Réda's family. The inhabitants raised animals, but also grew cereals, hemp and sunflowers. Tourists visiting the town will not be bored, they can participate for example in the straw hat festival, many locals dealing with the weaving of straw hats.
