Map of Dealu: Daffodil field
During the month, the volcanic plateau north of Dealu, at an altitude of 900-950m, is flooded with flowers. On more than 50 hectares of wetland, 200 daffodils per square meter were counted.
It is a wild and protected plant that does not last more than 1-2 days after being harvested. At the same time, the remaining root suffers because its life cycle has been disrupted, and we are liable to a fine. Let's go to the narcissus festival, organized on the last Sunday of May.
In fine weather the plateau fills with people and you can admire the daffodils all day in a cloud of inviting scent. The daffodil is the most beautiful flower of spring, which is why you respect the slogan of daffodils: look, smell and leave!
