During the Reformation the medieval church in Jacodu became Unitarian. It was extended in the eighteenth century and rebuilt between 1836 and 1853. The ceiling of the nave is covered with blue boxes, one of which may be read and rebuilding year "ceiling sky" symbolizes the work of divine.
The organ was made in Rákospalota-Újfalu, near Budapest, in the factory of Organs and Harmonies Sándor Országh and son. The bell tower located a few meters south of the church are two bells, the largest being cast in 1936 in the workshop of Hönig Frigyes Arad.
