The Evangelical Church of Daneș was built at the beginning of the 16th century. Also at that time, for the purpose of defending against the Turks, a gallery with metres and crenels was built. The old church still has a smaller defense tower. The current wooden-guarded bell tower, built in 1927, houses two bells cast in 1777 and 1809. The altar was built in 1873, the organ in 1910, and the crystals in 1723.
