The Laslea church being built in 1456 gives us the impression of an older church as the constructions are still visible on its wall, where the older one's roof reached. The tower with the bell has a wooden construction within. The older church collapsed around 1840 and in 1842 the newer one's constructions had already been started. The whole reconstruction was lead by Samuel Teusch from Sighisoara. They built a new tower for a bell, which collapsed, thus not a single newer one was re-built after.
The alter with the large painting was made by Pokotz in 1845. The main chair and the baldachin were made in the same year by Nikolaus Popp, from Brasov.
