Horses spring creek springing from a cirque of mountains Piatra Rea Rodnei Mountains, cascading over a steep limestone, forming the largest waterfall in Romania: Horse Falls.
The waterfall is 90 meters. It is located near the Borsa at an altitude of 1300 m. Waterfall with successive fall of 40, 20 and 40 m brings the most important water contribution stream Fountain, left tributary of the Viseu, which flows into the Tisa.
According to legend, the name of the waterfall comes from the 15 horses fallen prey to bears. Folds up into a stormy night and blind, frightened by lightning and caught the attack bears, horses took her to rush toward the precipice. Some escaped but many had no other solution, were thrown into space.
Access is on foot on the red triangle from Borsa (2 - 3h), or lift from Borsa. (From the top 1 km) chairlift is open from 9-17.
