Map of Izvoarele
Sources attested in documents from 1770 is a town founded by the family Kozmucza. The inhabitants were Greek Catholics, but at the end of the nineteenth century they had neither church nor school. The church built in the 17th century was brought here in 1926, and in 1932 they built a new one, which brought a very old iconostasis.
