Stoiceni was an area spa resort with mineral springs, unfortunately completely destroyed during the communist era. In the village were three wooden churches, one built in 1856 near a second earlier, keeping only the altar table, and the third bought in 1890 from Ciocotiș for Greek Catholics.
The third church remaining unbelievers was dismantled and taken to another locality. Only the table of altar left over which a private church was built. Church monument, built in 1856 has a tin roof and tower covered with shingle with a balcony and four towers.
On the right side of the entrance you can see the entire length of the church, the mass ancestors made of large stone slabs. Inside door crossing of the nave nave is massive and painted with floral motifs. The interior painting on two registers keeps pretty well. In addition to saints and biblical scenes, there is a seven-headed dragon. The iconostasis is one register. The gap can be seen vault altar iconostasis.
