Map of Bocicău
Bocicău one of the most northerly localities of Romania is located at the foot of the Oaș Mountains, very close to the border with Ukraine. It is a locality from 1572, belonging to Ugocea county. Today it is part of Tarna Mare commune. Set on the bank of Valea Seaca stream, it offers favorable conditions for fruit trees. No wonder the locality is surrounded by orchards.
