Map of Fericea: Orthodox church
The Orthodox Church of the village of Fericea was built between 1886-1896 by Greek Catholic believers. It was a wooden church. Due to lack of funds for repairs, construction has gotten degraded. It was completely restored between 1992 and 2000.
Only the skeleton and the wooden tower with clogged gazebo and the helmet with bulb at the base and octagonal to the top remain. The interior was painted and all during renovation and was renewed iconostasis.
On the ship's vault are painted the four evangelists, and the iconostasis has two registers with the apostles, namely Jesus crucified. Doors altar, beautiful fretted and decorated with painted medallions are kept in wooden church.
