Iojib, until the end of the 15th century was the property of the Mórocz family. Having no heirs, the Báthory family became the next master. They are followed in 1609 by the Csomaközi family. At the end of the 18th century. Among the locals are the families: Károlyi, Teleki, Vécsey, Szirmay, Tóth, Rátonyi, Boross, Varga and Bagossy. The largest landowner in the early twentieth century was Papolczy family.
