Lapusel is a populated locality from ancient times, archaeologists found evidence from the 7th century BC. Documentary testimony comes from the 15th century. Lapusel has two old churches, one Reformed and one Orthodox, two lakes and a famous forest for daffodils that bloom here in early May.
