Map of Livada: Kerekes or Péterffy manor

The Kerekes Manor, known as the Péterffy Manor, was probably built at the beginning of the 19th century; the remaining documents prove that in 1876 Kerekes Ágoston donates the property of his nephew Péterffy Gusztáv.
Rumor uncle, otherwise liberal and childless, would be made a condition of his nephew namely to take Bonis wife Berta, daughter of another landowner in the area. The two young men were confirmed, and 6 of their boys were born. Imposing mansion in the center of Orchard has a large entrance guarded by columns and beneath the building lies a vaulted cellar.
After the nationalization in the building were arranged dwellings, offices, even an Orthodox chapel. In the courtyard we can see the old annexed buildings and a newly built Orthodox church. The heirs claimed the restitution of the building in 1990, but could not prevent the construction of the church and did not receive the property back either. The process is still ongoing, and the heirs are waiting to receive the mansion and the associated land.
