Map of Tămăşeni: Reformed church
Above the locality, in a picturesque setting, the reformed church from Tamaseni is built near the cemetery. It was built between 1852-1861, instead of another damaged and incomplete church. The first time the ship was raised, between 1852-1861 and then, between 1901-1902 the tower.
The two bells were cast in 1811 and 1924. The biggest problem with the church is the slippage of the ground. Believers are forced to reinforce the walls of the church at intervals of 15-20 years. For the same reason, in 1901-1902, the back of the ship was demolished and rebuilt, and in 1937 the tower so tilted that the authorities wanted to close the church. The believers demolished and rebuilt the tower. Still the walls were stabilized by means of iron platts. Unfortunately, they have not been able to solve the sinking of the back of the ship.
