Map of Şamşud
Șamșud locality is situated on two slopes of a valley and is certified in documents that derive since 1366. The inhabitants were overgrowing vine but they had many arable lands and hayfields. In 1626 the catholic Christians passed to the reformed religion together with their medieval church.
