Map of Popeşti
The little village Popești with wonderful views is hiding among the Cluj hills. Its inhabitants in the past were slaves for nobles who possessed the areas near by. Behind the nobles remain a big manor and a crypt which unfortunately are in deplorable state. In upper village's centre a monument was built in 1935 dedicated to heroes who were victims of history's conflicts.
