Map of Turea: Bánffy manor

According the board placed above the entrance Banffy manor was built in 1774 by GBM, that is Grof Bánffy M. For now we couldn't succeeded to discover what does M means. Unfortunately after the Banffys left the manor took the way of destruction.
The skittish building with baroque influences was dwelt by everybody and nobody did anything to save it. First time Colonel Wilburg Aladár owned it who transformed it into a barrack but he left to war and didn't come back.
Afterwards here was a court of justice, city hall, CAP, but for a while the building isn't dwelt. The yard was taken by the wild nature, you can hardly reach the main stairs, the roof was destroyed, and the doors are wide open, nothing to be stolen. The building wasn't claimed by anybody, so it can negotiate only with the weather to be able to resist a few years. Besides the neighbor door the servants building can be seen, they served the manor.
