Map of Chechiş: Wooden church
The wooden church from Chechiș locality's centre was made in 1797 and modified in 1899. You can remark the entrance carved doorway and the double bow which doubles the vault.
The nave and the tower are covered with iron plate. The eave is sustained by many arcades. The church functioned up until 1993 when the new church was finished near it. The church's exterior is plastered with soil and whitewashed, under which it conserves well and any time could be capitalized.
