Map of Cubleşu: Wooden church

In Cubleșu locality on a hill a wooden church can be seen, in present a historical monument built probably in XVIII century, exact date is unknown. The painting from the nave's arch and the place's altar was made by church's painter Urs Broina from Stoboru. Although made in the second half of XVIII century in red, green and blue shades, it is relatively in a good shape. In 1968 the roof and the belfry tower were covered with iron plate roof, and the walls were plastered inside and outside with this occasion the sculptures and a part of the paintings were covered.
