Map of Cheud
Cheud locality is certified since 1475. Among landlords we find The Jakcs, The Drágfis, The Pázmáns or The Báthoris. Once on the hill near locality the stronghold Aranyos rised, nothing remain of it, only the ground bumps indicating that here was once a building. On one of hill slopes we can see ruins of an old Benedictine monastery.
