Map of Ciureni: Wooden church
The wooden church from Ciureni was bought in 1927 from the Christians of Elciu. It was brought here and was rebuilt one year later. Its age is unknown but one of the bells has the inscription: 22nd of April 1776. The place has a length of 12 m and a width of 5 m.
The entrance is through a closed porch added later on. The church's walls are daubed and the painting was made in 1976 by Ioan Ciurean from Creaca. In that year as well the church was covered with iron. The church is not on the list of historical monuments.
