Map of Pădurea Neagră: Waterfall

The inhabitants who remained in Pădurea Neagră are proud because at the edge of the locality there is a waterfall which in rainy days swells and delights the tourists which dare to go up there. The waterfall is at a distance of 1.5 km of the last house on the left side of the road to Marghita.
The falling through Bistra stream starts from about aproximatively 30 m altitude and it makes its way jumping over the stones forming small or big waterfalls, slipping through narrow rocks and reaching finally to the obstacle made by humans.
After the last fall and a passing under the road it mingles with Bistra and they are heading together towards Barcău. The bravest ones can climb near the waterfall so it can be admired in all its splendour.
