Iaz swamp is a natural floriculture, fauna, pale ontological and landscape reservation having a surface of ten ha and a depth of 5,1 meters. The swamp formed from landslides since 8-10.000 years ago has pollen deposits, information carriers. It is a real treasure for the researchers who study the forest evolution in the last 10.000 years. On the swamp's surface peat moss was identified, the carnivorous plant Sundew and a great number of bugs among which a newness of our country fauna.
Around the swamp the secular trees grow looking like a dendrology park. The water having a brown-darkish color, warm with therapeutically properties has been appreciated before the '89's. Here functioned the Iaz Baths recommended for those with rheumatic problems and diseases of peripheral nervous system. Now the old micro resort is damaged and in a few years it will be swollen by the swamp. The brave ones can reach the mysterious luster of blackish water where they can see extraordinary landscapes.
