The orthodox serbian church was constructed at the second part of the 18th century and finished in 1797. In the village there had been an older church as well, about which there is not much information left. It is known though that it was a construction of wood. In the year of 1737 the old one was replaced by a new construction, with the help of the sculptor Frantz Vainhepl. The churchyard serves also as a graveyard for the 19th century. There are also some important church books kept in there, around 30, most of which are from the 18th century.
