On the left side of the Danube, 4km from Svinita, there are three towers in a triangle shape. These had been standing on the steep slope before 1971, the articulation of the lake. Nowadays they seem to be flooded by the Danube and the tower of the south seems to be completely flooded. The towers are 10 and 11 m high. One of them fell into the Danube. It suffered attack by the ones who tried to find some treasures here. All of them were constructed of stone, standing there with the 1,40 m wide walls, having three levels in their interior.
Nobody knows actually when these towers were constructed it is rather talk that remained instead of proper documents, anyway, some say that the Hungarian king Zsigmond de Luxemburg in 1419 got this building and used by the riders of teutoni for providing peace and harmony for the state, protecting it from the Danube side. In another documentation remained from 1443, this castle remained as one among the castles of the lords of Banat. Historians assume that this castle was built in the thirteenth or fourteenth century, surely before 1430.
