The Pamfil Albu Ethnographic Museum in Lupsa is one of the largest and most complex museums in the country, made by Prof. Pamfil Albu's life work.
In 1952 Pamfil Albu donated to the state the entire personal collection of over 2300 pieces, but he continued to complete it until the end of his life in 1990. At present, the collection counts over 8,000 objects. The permanent exhibition is a true mirror of the village on the Aries Valley, as it once was.
The museum boasts an impressive collection of clothes, rare books from the 17th-18th centuries, a collection of wood and glass icons from the 18th-19th centuries, ores, numismatics and a vast collection of objects and pieces, following their evolution, starting from the primitive commune.
