Map of Brădet: Wooden church

The wooden church in the town of Brădet was built in 1733, instead of another older church that reached the brink of ruin. We are building history of the surround inscription on the entrance door to the nave.
Outside, around the construction, the motif of the twisted rope continues, and the framing of the entrance door is of rare beauty. The 22 m high tower rises from the inclined plane of the roof.
In the nave on the west wall are caught over 20 crosses of heroes, worked by local craftsmen. Inside the nave is vaulted but only painted iconostasis, a work made in 1750 by David Painter from Curtea de Arges, as written in the iconostasis. In 1910 they were increased small windows between the nave and narthex were cut holes barred. Unfortunately the shingle roof was changed on the board.
