Map of Copăceni: Wooden Church
The church of Copăceni was built, in all probabilities round year 1750. It was used only oak wood. The workers that had raised it were from the orthodoxes of the village. The form of the church is of a ship one and adopted the shape of the churl barns. Between the naos and the paranaos a wall was raised with a wood grilli in it.
The church keeps entirely his initial form, nothing changed in the courses of the years. The church was raised here because it is know that the village at its begginings had been seatled near the top of the hill and the church, in the middle of it. The church is covered with reed.
