On the outskirts of Pomezeu we can see the traces of the Telegdi family fortress. Built at the end of the 15th century. in 1660, when the city was conquered and Oradea. Also used as a mosque, it was probably destroyed at the end of the 27 years of Turkish rule. Today we see only a portion of the wall of approx. 25 m, 4-5 m high, with windows and traces of the former watch galleries. There is no trace of defense.
The ruins are located southeast of the village church on a plateau bordered on three sides by the river, ideal location for a city.
