Map of Viştea de Jos: Orthodox church

The one nave church built in 1489 was founded by Costea, Mircea cel Bătrân's boyar from Moldova. In orded to avoid demolishion of the church in Maria Theresa's time the villagers offered it to the Catholics. Its tower was rebuilt in 1819.
