Map of Făgăraş mountains: Storage dam Vâlsan

This arc arch located on the beautiful valley of Vâlsan was erected in 1966 for energy purposes. The height of the dam is 24 m, the length of the canopy is 90 m and manages to hold a volume of 0.2 million cubic meters of water. The surface of the lake can reach 2 ha, where the length of the lake will reach 100 m. Not far from this accumulation lake starts towards the ridge of Fagaras the route:
