Map of Făgăraş mountains: Bărcaciu cottage - Scara saddle
The yellow-marked route starts from Barcaciu cottage along with the red dot that we leave after approx. 1 km and start climbing the Guns' Road to Scarisoara Plateau, where we will meet
From here, headed by the two markings, we continue on the Scarișoara edge to the south, in the direction of the main ridge. After approx. 35 minutes on the indicator below Scara peak we leave the red cross and we head to the left, cross the Puha valley and climb into the Puha saddle.
Here we meet with
Guided by the two bookmarks in 10 minutes, we reach the Scara saddle, where the ridge route passes
In the saddle is also located Refugiul Scara.
