Map of Făgăraş mountains: Portiţa Iezerului - Urlea lake - Mosu saddle

The route marked with a blue dot starts from the crest of Urla from Portița Iezer, or as it is called the Lacul saddle in the descent to the east, in a valley where Lake Urlea is located. It is a descent on the grotto and rocky area, up to the shores of Lake Urlea. From the lake, the trail follows the stream to the north, towards the bottom of the Urlea valley. We arrive in a marshy area, cross the valley and start a 30-minute climb in Moșu saddle. Shortly before we meet the red dot mark, which comes from Urlea Glade.
