Map of Făgăraş mountains: Recea - Scoarţa edge

The marked route leaves from Recea to the Berivoi Monastery. At about 3 km, at the intersection to the monastery, we leave the asphalt road and continue on a forest road to the right for another 2 km. At the end of the forest road passes the Berivoi stream and from there starts the path.
The mark climbs on the foot of the Elder, in the first half hour in a beech and pine forest, to the alpine hole, you reach the main ridge of Scoartet, where we meet the mark:
On this marking to the left, to the north only 10 minutes is the shelter of Scoarta refuge, and to the right Berevoescu Mare peak and the main ridge:
