Map of Făgăraş mountains: Sâmbăta valley - La Comanda glade

Our route, marked with a red dot, leaves the Sâmbăta Valley, overlooking the Floarea Reginei Boarding House, on a storage shelf of the wood cut from the beautiful surrounding forest, and deposited here in the former Urzicii Glade. The trail starts on a mountain foot, climbing up the short serpentine.
After 30 minutes from departure, it meets the main route, from the peak of the Drăguș
The glade we reach is in a saddle and is called La Comandă, since the time of partisans in the Fagaras mountains.
