Map of Oradea: The Capel of the Roman-Catholic Bishop Palace
The festive center of Oradea's episcopal palace has a two-storey height. The walls are decorated with the paintings by Stornó Ferenc, made in 1879. When the palace became a museum, these paintings were covered with lime. From this room other halls open.
In the left rooms was the bishop's residence. This was his apartment, the chapel and the library. The two-storey high chapel has walls painted by Johann Nepomuk von Schöpf. He made the altar painting and the large fresco decorating the ceiling.
