Map of Retezat mountains: Râuşor
Râușor is a wonderful place for recreation and rest. It is at an altitude of 1250 m on the north side of the Retezat Mountains. In order to get here, we have to climb the road from Râu de Mori along the Râușor stream, under the Colt fortress, about 12 km. At Râușor there is a ski slope, 1200 m of length and 380 m of level difference, also equipped with a ski lift. Besides the pensions in the area there are camping and parking places.
