Map of Retezat mountains: Păpuşa or Adânc lake

Deep Lake or Păpușa Lake hides in basib underneath Păpușa and Tapu peak. It is at an altitude of 2150m, has an area of 0.29 ha, and the depth of the water reaches even 4 m. The lake is one of the springs of the Barbat Creek. The lake can be seen from the routes:
