Hartă Poiana Blenchii: Biserica ortodoxă

Biserica din Poiana Blenchii a fost construită între 1879-1882, de cele 50 de familii greco-catolice. Preotul Gavril Buzura, nobil de Hollómező a primit ajutoare de la principele Ardealului, dar și de la Mitropolia Sibiului. Hrisovul scris cu ocazia sfințirii bisericii s-a păstrat în Sfântul Prestol.
Biserica are ziduri groase de piatră, iar în turn se găsesc două clopote, turnate în 1875 și în 1922. (clopotul mare a fost rechiziționat de trupele austro-ungare în 1917). Iconostasul a fost realizat de Wilhem Rupprik din Dej, iar pictura icoanelor de pe iconostas și de pe bolta navei de pictorul Eugen Profeta din Cluj.
În anul 2002 pictura a fost refăcută de pictorul Palade Virgil din Coroieni.
